Olkola Native Title Determination (QUD 673 of 2014)
This notice is to advise that Cape York Land Council (CYLC) will facilitate a meeting for those people who hold Native Title rights and interests within the Olkola Native Title Determination (QUD 673 of 2014) subject to:
- Exploration Permit for Minerals (EPM) 26266 (as shown on the map below in red); and
- Mining Lease (ML) 3010 (as shown on the map below in blue).
This meeting is to discuss options to progress these matters.

Purpose of this meeting:
This meeting is for CYLC to provide information and take instructions in relation to:
- cultural heritage that may be affected within the EPMs and ML;
- options available to progress this matter under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth), Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2003 (Qld), Mineral Resources Act 1989 (Qld) and other relevant legislation, if appropriate.

Travel Attendance
CYLC has limited funding available for travel assistance to this meeting. CYLC may be able to provide some assistance, for example fuel reimbursement. CYLC will prioritise assisting elders and family representatives and will consider how limited funding can be allocated to support a broad representation of the affected Native Title Holders.
