This notice is to advise that the Applicant in the Cape York United #1 (CYU#1) Claim will convene a meeting on Thursday 3 April 2025 in Cooktown for all members of the Yiithuwarra Native Title Group in relation to the area shown on the map below within the CYU#1 Claim.

Who is invited to attend this meeting?
All members of the Yiithuwarra Native Title Group are invited to attend the meeting.
Purpose of Meeting
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the outcomes of the meeting with the Guugu Yimidhirr Native Title Group relating to the agreed boundary and group descriptions, as they relate to the Yiithuwarra Native Title Group. The legal representatives of the CYU#1 Applicant will also discuss next steps, including authorisation meetings scheduled for May and June 2025 in order to progress towards a determination of native title in October 2025.
