This notice is to advise that (CYLC) will be facilitating a meeting between those Native Title Holders whose traditional land and waters are directly affected by the proposed grant of Exploration Permit for Minerals (EPMs) 28074 and the project proponent, Silica Australia Pty Ltd, on 21 March 2025. The Explorer met with the Native Title Party on 17 October 2024, and it was agreed that the Parties would come together in January 2025 to further discuss the Explorer’s proposed project.
The meeting will be held as follows:

Purpose of this meeting
On 17 February 2025, the affected Native Title Holders met with Silica Australia Pty Ltd to discuss its proposed exploration project. At this meeting, it was agreed that the Native Title Holders would hold an in-person meeting with Silica Australia to further consider options to progress negotiations. This meeting is facilitated pursuant to the normal negotiation procedure of the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth).
