Cape York United #1 Native Title Claim (QUD673/2014)
This notice is to advise that Cape York Land Council (CYLC) will facilitate a meeting with those people hold or may hold Native Title rights and interests within the Cape York United #1 Native Title Claim (QUD673/2014) subject to the proposed grant of Exploration Permit for Minerals (EPMs) 28670, 28705 and 28706 held by BMAX Holdings Pty Ltd.
The Explorer has commenced full enquiry proceedings with the National Native Title Tribunal (NNTT) with a view to receiving a determination that the expedited procedure applies to EPMs 28670, 28705 and 28706.
At this meeting, CYLC will discuss with the Native Title Party the NNTTs full enquiry process and the options available to progress this matter.

Purpose of this meeting:
The purpose of this meeting is for CYLC to provide information and seek instructions in relation to:
• the expedited procedure statement attached to the notification of EPMs 28670, 28705, and 28706;
• the NNTTs full inquiry process engaged for EPMs 28670, 28705 and 28706; and
• options available to progress this matter under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) and the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2003 (Qld).
