This notice is to advise that Cape York Land Council (CYLC) will be holding a meeting on Tuesday 18 June 2024 in Hopevale for all members of the Guugu Yimidhirr Native Title Group who hold or may hold native title rights and interests in the area shown on the map below within the Cape York United #1 (CYU#1) Claim Area. This is an important decision-making meeting and we encourage all members of the Guugu Yimidhirr Native Title Group to attend. Details of this meeting are as follows:

Venue: Pioneer Hall, Muni Street, Hopevale
Purpose of Meeting
The purpose of this meeting is for a decision to be made:
- To confirm the boundary of the Guugu Yimidhirr Native Title Group with neighbouring groups; and
- To confirm the group description of the Guugu Yimidhirr Native Title Group by descent from apical ancestors

All Guugu Yimidhirr People are invited to attend this meeting.
