This notice is to advise that Cape York Land Council (CYLC) will be holding a meeting on Tuesday 23 April 2024 in Cooktown for all members of the Yiithuwarra Native Title Group who hold or may hold native title rights and interests in the area shown on the map below within the Cape York United #1 (CYU#1) Claim Area. This is an important decision making meeting and we encourage all members of the Yiithuwarra Native Title Group to attend. Details of this meeting are as follows:

Purpose of Meeting
The purpose of this meeting is for CYLC to:
(a) confirm the boundary of the Yithuwarra Native Title Group negotiated by Yithuwarra nominated representatives; and
(b) confirm the apical ancestors that make up the group description for Yiithuwarra.
Who is invited to attend the meeting?
All Yiithuwarra People are invited to attend this meeting.
