This notice is to advise that Cape York Land Council (CYLC) will be facilitating a meeting for people who hold or may hold
native title rights and interests in the proposed Exploration Permits for Mineral (EPMs) 28287 and 28288 area (as shown on the map below). On 21 September 2022, the Department of Resources provided a section 29(7) notification for EPMs 28287-8, held by PacGold Ltd, as acts that attract the expedited procedure. On 29 August 2023 the Department of Resources removed the expedited statement and the right to negotiate procedure now applies.
At this meeting the Explorer will attend to provide an overview of its Project.
