This notice is to advise that Cape York Land Council (CYLC) will be facilitating an information meeting with members of the Darrba clan group in relation to the proposed access route for Mining Lease (ML) 100309. ML 100309 was notified on 31 August 2022. This meeting is to discuss the proposed access route that will affect the traditional land and waters of the Darrba People.

Purpose of this meeting:
The purpose of this meeting is to:
• discuss the mining lease access route application sought by Diatreme;
• discuss Native Title and cultural heritage implications of the proposed creation of the access route; and
• seek instructions from Darrba clan members.
