These consultations were initially notified to occur from Tuesday 20 September to Friday 23 September 2022. Cape York Land Council (CYLC) will now be in Hope Vale from Monday 26 September 2022 to Thursday 29 September 2022 to meet with members of the Hopevale Native Title Determination (QUD001/1997) (Hopevale Determination) clans and other Guugu Yimidhirr clans discuss the proposed Guugu Yimidhirr determination in the Cape York United #1 Claim (CYU#1 Claim).
