- The acceptance by the members of CYLC and ORATSIC of the CYLC Constitution 2007, making the organisation CATSI compliant;
- Strathgordon Native Title Determination on 27 July 2007 and PBC Incorporated;
- Eastern Kuku Yalanji Native Title Determination on 9 December 2007;
- Fifteen Eastern Kuku Yalanji ILUAs registered by the National Native Title Tribunal in October 2007;
- Jabalbina Yalanji Aboriginal Corporation (PBC and Land Trust) incorporated in October 2007;
- Cape York Peninsula Heritage Act 2007 (Qld) passed in October 2007 creating a number of firsts for Cape York Peninsula including:
- Joint management of National Parks;
- Changes to Wild Rivers – the Wild Rivers Act will be changed so Native Title is protected and water allocations are made to each community for development;
- Vegetation clearing;
- Acquisition money.
